Bettina Jerome-Eshuis: a black-and-white portrait on a cobalt ground, with a neon-sun brush stroke across the eyes and a pink cheek mark

I’ve spent more than a decade working in technology, helping organizations solve hard problems at the intersection of cloud, AI, security, and enterprise transformation.

My background spans Google, Microsoft, VMware, and Dell, where I’ve worked with customers, partners, engineering teams, business leaders, and operators to move technology from strategy into real-world use.

My work has included AI transformation, enterprise AI deployment, cloud architecture, security, governance, technical strategy, customer and partner success, and large-scale technology adoption.

I’ve worked with Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 organizations, supporting environments where the scale, complexity, and stakes are significant. At one point, I managed a $1.6 billion account portfolio, working across a broad set of customer priorities and technical initiatives.

The work has never been just about the technology.

It’s about what happens when technology meets the organization that has to actually use it.

Strategy → Architecture → Implementation → Security → Governance → Adoption → Scale

That means understanding the business problem, identifying where technology can create meaningful value, working through architectural and technical constraints, navigating risk and security requirements, coordinating the right teams, and getting systems into production in a way the organization can actually operate and sustain.

I think about AI transformation the same way.

AI opportunity → Priority workflow → Design → Build → Test → Deploy → Integrate → Operate → Measure → Improve

The model is only one part of the system.

The real work is connecting AI to the organization’s data, tools, workflows, controls, people, and business objectives.

I’m particularly interested in the space between “we should use AI” and “AI is now reliably doing meaningful work inside the business.”

That space is where strategy becomes implementation.

It is also where governance, security, workforce readiness, change management, and adoption become impossible to treat as afterthoughts.

Alongside my enterprise work, I’ve mentored startups, founders, nonprofits, and emerging technology teams, helping people think through technology strategy, product direction, technical decisions, growth, and execution.

I’m also the founder of Black Women in the Age of AI (BWAI Studio), a studio focused on human agency in the age of AI.

The mission is straightforward:

Teach the technology properly.

Put it to work on real lives and careers.

Prepare women for the rooms where AI is built and where the policies governing it are written.

The goal is to help put one million Black women and women of color into AI positions.

Across all of this work, the through-line is the same.

I like complicated problems.

I like figuring out how systems actually work.

I like finding the gap between where something is and where it needs to be.

And I like turning that understanding into something people can actually use.

Understand the system → Find the gap → Find the answer → Build what’s needed → Test it → Learn → Improve.

That’s how I work.

And this site is a portfolio of that work.
